Poker tournament win - free cruise 1099 ?

If you win a poker tournament on RC, do they issue you a 1099 for the value of the free cruise? Has anyone won? thanx, Mike

Of course, as an honest US citizen, you will claim the FMV of the cruise on your income tax return. Whether or not you receive a 1099 or W2-G.

Did they ask you for your Social Security number? If so, a 1099 should be on its way.

We won about 2k on a Slot Pull.  They would not give the cash until they had our Passport and SS number. We got a 1099!  No getting out of that one!

Maybe I didn't understand OP correctly, but I think the OP actually saying he won a free cruise and not cash. I don't think you pay IRS taxes on a free cruise. Otherwise wouldn't we all be getting 1099s on our comped cruises???
