There is no Uber or Lyft app type ride-share. There is a taxi dispatching app (Hitch) but with the taxi app you pay the regular regulated metered taxi fare figured at the end of your ride plus an additional 15% charge.

We've founds Hitch to work quite well-- you can jump the line at a lot of places where its harder to get a taxi, you can have a taxi sent to places where they normally don't come, and the fact you can pay with credit card more than makes up for additional charges. Its annoying that most of the taxis only take cash given how expensive they are. 

 

Only gripe with them was one trip they had their system down for a good two days which really made things difficult because we had planned to use them to bounce around to a bunch of places.
