Jamietravelstheworld Posted May 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2019 Has anyone done the shore excursion to Cape Kidnappers? Is it worth it? Can you describe the experience please. Thanks. Kiwi Kruzer Posted May 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2019 I think the tour has opened up again. It was cancelled after some of the cliff face collapsed and cut off access to the gannets.
IWantToLiveOverTheSea Posted July 29, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2019 (edited) We're on Oceania, in early January. They're offering a tour, so I assume everything is a go. You might find more info on the websites of two operators I found. It sounds like there's a bus trip and a beach trip. I'm not sure which vendor Oceania uses (probably bus?) or which company Regent uses, or if the 2 companies are the same, just using bus type vehicles versus beach buggies. However, in case this helps, the vendors are Gannet Beach Adventures and Gannet Safaris. Other than that, I know nothing about the tours, but I'm following your post as I'm interested in the gannets too. But then the antique cars are calling, too....probably very touristy but fun, and my spouse would probably like that more than standing looking at large birds.
