Western Mediterranean Cruise - Vaccinations

If traveling from USA, are there any vaccinations required for entry into ports of call in Spain, Italy and France? The CDC site lists recommendations, but I cannot specifically find language stating the requirements.

I talked to our HMO's travel nurse before we left in March.  She said no shots were needed for Europe, but to make sure we were up to date on our tetanus shot.

No. How do I know? I live in Europe.

Have done several Med cruises (east and west), no vaccinations required.
