Does anybody know if Princess cancel flight reservations when I cancel a cruise?

Yes, if you cancel before penalty dates, both will be cancelled.  May also cancel flight after final payment but before 45 days for EZ Air.

As long as you have booked ‘flexible’ rate fare. 45 days is calculated by flight date or cruise sail date, which ever is sooner/earlier as many passengers elect to fly in many days before sail date.
