Yes, they will play the matches, however it is unknown if there will be a live feed on any Princess ship.

Awesome!!  I might even prefer if they're delayed.  I would much rather watch them in the afternoon or evening with a beer in hand than early morning with a cup of coffee.

Fox/Fox Sports 1 have the broadcast rights but have never seen those channels broadcast on the ship.

I have seen network sports such as the Super Bowl shown on ESPN International (or one of the other ESPN channels) & they often have soccer matches.  So my guess is you should be able to watch WWC matches on one of the ESPN channels on the ship.

To answer the presumed question of will the games be made available to watch onboard:

With a 10 hour time difference between Paris and Alaska the times will be very early morning.

If it is a port day the ship will not have access to the international feeds that its satellite service provides (as a simulcast of the US feed is prohibitively expensive). And there are noise restrictions on the MUTS screen while in port as well.

The indoor venues that sometimes do air sporting events that aren't on stateroom TV (the Casino Bar or Snooker's) are unlikely to be open in the hours before breakfast. But you never know--you may want to leave a message for the Entertainment Director imploring them to offer the broadcast no matter the hour.
