How to ship luggage from Narita? Help Please

Here is a question for the real experts.  Assume we arrive at Narita and want to spend a couple of weeks traveling in Japan...which ends when we board a cruise in Yokohama.  Ideally, we would like to ship some luggage from Narita directly to the ship, but this would also need to include luggage storage (perhaps a 2 week delay).  We know that some companies do offer luggage service from Narita to a hotel but we have not  been able to find anyone who would hold our luggage and then deliver it to the port on a given day.  Any suggestions?

When you exit Customs at Narita, you will find yourself in a hall with bus / train / taxi transportation ticket desks, foreign exchange shops, and luggage forwarding companies. The most common name for the luggage forwarding services is Takyuubin.

These companies also store luggage.

You need only tell them how long to hold the bags, and where / when to deliver them.

Fill out the forms, pay the money, and you are done.

Thanks.  I was aware of that company (and Yamato) but was not aware they would hold luggage and later deliver to the port.  We were already thinking that if they would hold and then only deliver to a hotel we would arrange to spend our pre-cruise night in Yokohama and try to work something out with the hotel's concierge.  Our thinking is that we want to spend a couple of weeks running around Southern Japan (probably using Kyoto as a base) and would prefer to have less luggage when dealing with trains and metro.

We just returned from a two week independent tour of Japan prior to the cruise.   We stayed the night before at the New Grand hotel, you could enquire of them.   We started our trip by flying to Hiroshima and sending our luggage onward by Yamato,  and there it was in our hotel. It made using the trains very easy.  Kyoto is an excellent base, but we also very much enjoyed the smaller places of Hiroshima, Himeji and Kinosaki Onsen.  

It is a wonderful place to visit!
