Booking shows on the Escape

After reading many reviews, how early do I need to get on ship to make my entertainment reservations.  Many people said the shows  are all booked up by 5pm.   Also do I need to go to the reservation desk or can I make reservations from kiosks. Also where are these kiosks located. thanks

you can use the kiosks, they are located next to the elevators usually near the stairs. there is an nother kiosk near the theater

You can if you can get on the ship's wifi network from there and the reservations are "open". I have had mixed results. Sometimes I can do it before boarding through the app, but sometimes they don't open the reservations until boarding has already begun and then I just do it via the kiosks on the ship.
