Game of thrones

Anyone done the tours? There is one in Dubrovnik and one in Split.

I’m  thinking of doing both as love the show.

Apparently there some Game of Thrones locations in Iceland as well

There is mate yes. I’m on cruise in med so they are t(e ones I’m looking at. 

I do fancy a Iceland holiday one year though.

BUT wear  mozzie protection. Some tourist were wearing these

We just (May 28th) did an amazing GOT tour in Valletta, Malta. With a cast member from season's 1 & 2...Malta Film Tours...Just WOW. We've also done the one in Iceland too.

We did a ship provided GOT tour from Split  and a private tour in dubrovnik.  (And we are doing one in Belfast this year on our way back from Iceland...)  They were both good but the private one in dubrovnick was way ahead - max 6 people and the opportunity to role play scenes!

Ship tour...Eeeek.....Our private tour (6 of us) in Malta with a cast member (Seasons 1 & 2) was just WOW !! We went all over the island to all the filming sites even out to the cliffs and where Khal Drogo died and where Daenerys walked through the fire. Just amazing how using blue screen they made the ocean look like sand for some shots. Being there and seeing the professional pictures Malcolm had of how it looked then and his funny behind the scenes stories made this a tour to remember.

In Dubrovnik we used Darvo for our walking tour.

I put a link on my blog to book with him. It was very reasonably prices and a small walking tour. We got to take photos reenacting the scenes and Darvo will take pictures with your camera for you. Showed us Kings Landing/walk of shame etc.

This sounds like a great tour to take. I will definitely look this one up I go to Malta. I love the Med. and could do it over and over.
