spa balcony on dream

Has anyone ever stayed on deck 12 in one of the spa balconies?  Is it shaded?  Or is it open to the sky?  I remember reading somewhere about a deck of balconies that doesn't have any shade and I can't remember which deck or which ship that was on and I am considering booking this deck 12 spa balcony but I do not want to if there is no cover.  Thanks!

Even though I haven't stayed in a Deck 12 Spa balcony, I've heard that it is not shaded and can get scorching hot during the day.

We loved it, best location on the ship. Really depends which direction you are heading for sun exposure. You are steps from the Spa, Serenity, glass elevators, and YTD dining room

We get spa cabins on 11.  Covered balcony and close to spa.
