People you always encounter on your cruise

A cruise tradition for fun Is we give people who stand out a title several we have used "Photographer" he never stopped taking pictures or videoing enough to be aware he was actually on his vacation.  "Mr. Crabby" every time we saw him he was complaining to anyone within ear shot. "Hide! Here comes Mr. crabby." "Dancer" this poor guy was the funniest WILD dancer and he thought he was something. Anytime there was music he's start jerking and kicking it was hilarious. Every cruise we have a silly time enjoying the other cruisers.

I get a jolt of enjoyment and rejuvenating when I begin a cruise and share a table with first time cruisers (or with limited number of cruises) in the ship's MDR during an embarkation luncheon.  Their anticipation and excitement of their cruise to come rubs off on me.

It causes me to remember July 27, 1970, Rotterdam V, as I prepared to sail on my first cruise.

Rotterdam V was a lovely ship, and was my first cruise as well. ❤️
