Rome Termini station to Civitavecchia by train with luggage?

Just booked a train from Civitavecchia to Rome.  We are booked first class on the Frecce 8605 express train from Genoa to Rome which reaches Civitavecchia at 11.16 am (as I was advised).  The train makes no other stops and arrives at Rome Termini at 12.03, so we should be at our hotel well before 12.30 as we are booked in a Best Western which is only about 5 mins walk from the station.  Will make sure we use our money belts to keep passports, CC's etc.

Because of the two for one offer for Saturdays, we have been able to book for 21.50 Euros total for the two of us (2nd class would have been 16 Euros for two), so very good value.  We have been allocated seats by one of those small tables for two so no one sitting next to us either.  We will need to leave the ship about 9 am, but plan on a leisurely stroll through Civitavecchia with a coffee stop or two on the way.  Just hope it is not raining that morning, but as we are from Northern England I am sure we will cope 🙂

Thanks again for all the advice given here,

Barbara
