Rare lazydayz Posted October 21, 2019 #26 Share Posted October 21, 2019 We participated in the Glee Club, which was so much fun. It was nice to have somewhere to be, and a group to do it with. We practiced five times, including one rehearsal on the stage. Chris and Rochelle, two of the singer/dancers, were our coaches and were so much fun. They taught us five songs (really just parts of songs, thank goodness), then we learned the moves to go with them. Even the people who had never done a dance class were able to learn the moves. Our big performance was in the theater and part of the bigger stage show. After us, there were a few dance numbers featuring one crew member with one guest. That was fantastic! So if you like to sing, dance or perform, think about doing one of these activities.
pacruise804 Posted October 23, 2019 #27 Share Posted October 23, 2019 For Glee Club, were all the rehearsals on sea days? My husband and I are taking a Journey cruise next May and this might be fun, but don't want to be too tied down.
Rare lazydayz Posted October 23, 2019 #28 Share Posted October 23, 2019 Yes, all Glee Club rehearsals were on sea days, usually at same time and place. They want to make it easy for you, and the rehearsals were all an hour or less.
elcuchio24 Posted October 23, 2019 #29 Share Posted October 23, 2019 We like the longer cruises, and are able to swing them vacation wise. We are in our mid 30's and have two young boys.....we are certainly in the minority on the ship. That said, its a very nice dynamic and crowd.
