mrehani Posted January 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2006 We have a 12-night cruise on the Jewel that leaves May 26. Is it too early to purchase our tickets for the trip? or do you think prices may drop between now and then. Prices are low if I wnt to fly within the next month or two, but I know that May is starting to get into the heavier travel season. We are flying from Minneapolis. I hate to chance it and risk not getting the flight I want though. Thanks for your help
Rare LHT28 Posted January 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2006 I would book now. You may pay a bit more if the price drops but you would pay a lot more if you miss your cruise.
claud925 Posted January 27, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2006 Airfare prices just don't "drop" anymore. They can (and do), however, increase as you get closer to your desired day of departure .... book now.
Rare Keith1010 Posted January 29, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2006 I would go ahead and book now. Prices just don't drop like they used to and given that I would want to get my desire flights and also the best seat assignments I could get. Airlines can't make any money at today's ticket prices and to stay alive thay are all going to have to raise prices.
