Earplugs are a must regardless of cabin location!  You just never know how noisy your neighbors will be even if you are on a deck with cabins above and below.  Ear plugs are a must and I never leave home without them.  In addition to drowning out noise from outside the cabin, it also drowns our my snoring DH.  I get very soft foam ear plugs in bulk from Wal-Mart.  Cancels noise by 32 decibels.  

OP...I definitely would go for it as Aqua is great!

Ear plugs are too big for one of my ear canals, and too large for both of DH's ears.  We do use a white noise machine.  Sometimes I use my iPad white noise app in addition to the machine.
