eurodl Posted July 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2019 We will be in London in September 2020. Is it possible to do a day-trip to Disneyland Paris? I know we can take the "Chunnel" (I know that's not the proper name for it) to Paris, but how to get from Paris to Disneyland Paris and how long does it take? I'm thinking it would probably be best as an overnight at the park. Any suggestion/opinions?
Cotswold Eagle Posted July 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2019 (edited) Eurostar runs some direct trains from London to Disneyland Paris at certain times of the year, which take just under three hours. Otherwise change at Lille to a French train and it will take three to four hours plus, depending on the connection. Doing it in a day will only give you a few hours at the park. Search for journeys to/from Disneyland Paris on the Eurostar website (Eurostar.com) using dates in September this year and you will see the sorts of options, but you will not be able to book your September 2020 dates for a while. Or you can take the Eurostar to Paris and the RER out to Disneyland, from the same Paris station, but with a change. According to The Man in Seat 61 (the guru on European train travel), this will take around an hour, so the same sort of timings as changing at Lille. https://www.seat61.com/France.htm#London_to_Disneyland_Paris by Eurostar Edited July 14, 2019 by Cotswold Eagle

Morgans Posted July 15, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 15, 2019 Eurostar does take you more or less to the park gates - its very convenient and easy .It takes approx 2hrs 40 mins. Direct trains to/from St Pancras would give you approx 5 hours at the park when going/returning the same day. Some days are better than others for choices of direct trains so best to try to be flexible with dates.
