Tampa Thanksgiving!

We'll be arriving in Tampa the evening of Thanksgiving 2019; two days before we depart on Brilliance on the High Seas Rally.  Anyone local (or who knows Tampa well) with suggestions on where we might be able to find reservations for dinner?  Doesn't have to be turkey/stuffing/etc., although it would be nice.

Nothing too ritzy (or $$$$), as we (a) won't have packed anything too formal, since it's a biker cruise (with an awesome purpose -- raise money for dialysis.  In fact, we'll be taking 8-10 dialysis patients (and their caregiver) aboard with us for the cruise -- at no cost to them, and they'll receive dialysis on board the Brilliance)); and b)  we need to save our $$ to raise more money for dialysis while on the cruise.

I'm not a local but my wife & I too will be arriving on Thanksgiving Day for a Rhapsody of the Seas cruise on the 30th. I guess both ships will be leaving on Sat. Trying to figure which terminal for our ship since both are leaving on same day.

We are staying at the Hilton Downtown because their in house restaurant called 211 will be open on Thanksgiving Day. I called them to confirm this a month or so ago. That's why we are staying there. Also I found out that the Columbia Restaurant on East 7th Avenue near N 21st Street(kind of famous Spanish restaurant in Ybor City) will also be open for Turkey day. Not sure of the pricing for Thanksgiving though. You can call them if your interested. Regular Menu's available on both web sites.

I think that it is terrific what you are doing with Kidney Dialysis patients. Kudos to you!  Have a wonderful cruise! and good luck raising money for a great cause!

Columbia is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere in the world.

It's Spanish/Cuban and their tableside Sangria is insanely good.

Prices are decent.  The paella is amazing but it takes about 45 minutes.

Depends on where you are staying but lots of good restaurants in the area.  Whether they serve Thanksgiving turkey you would need to inquire

While indeed, Columbia is good - it is in Ybor City so not walkable if downtown.

If you are staying downtown, a better spanish / cuban option is Spain Restaurant and Toma Bar.  They are in walking distance to several downtown hotels or a quick uber ride.  There food is just as good as Columbia IMO and they are lower priced than Columbia.
