ejnsb Posted July 22, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2019 So we are on the Epic out of Barcelona in September. Pre cruise we are in an airbnb and I am not crazy about leaving my bankroll in the apartment while sightseeing. Can I purchase on board credit and then access it in the casino either at the table or cage? Also, what about funds remaining in the account at the end of the cruise? RegBarclay Posted July 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2019 You can do that, but be aware that NCL charges a 3% fee for all withdrawals from onboard account in the casino.Unused OBC of a few hundred $ you can probably get cash at guest services, but there have also been reports that they will issue a check... Sand and Seas Posted July 28, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2019 There are several options listed on Casinos at Seas "Cash and Credit Access" page. You could set up a line of credit, or use a Cashiers Check or Travelers checks too. There is an email address at this link along with other information. I've found that CAS will answer most emailed questions with a business day or two. https://www.ncl.com/credit
kimandtim Posted August 16, 2019 #5 Share Posted August 16, 2019 I did this very thing on my Epic cruise last week. I purchased OBC with a credit card that I got 3% back for travel so it was a wash and I didn't have to worry about pickpockets in Barcelona. Plus, I generated enough play that the hosts credited me back the withdrawal fees on the last night so I actually came out ahead.
