fsuhockette Posted July 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2019 At what point did you feel comfortable putting your kids across the hall in an interior? Once they hit 13 and become "adults" it gets pricey real quick. ;P Thanks in advance for the insight.
Rare Essiesmom Posted July 30, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2019 Balance between the age the cruise line allows it, and you feel you can trust the kids in their own cabin. EM
cb at sea Posted July 31, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2019 It really depends on your kids. While "across the hall" isn't far...probably closer than they are in their own bedrooms at home, they need to be able to follow your rules about leaving the cabin, or letting in someone. chipmaster Posted August 4, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2019 We cruised with two and then three, seperated in age by 2 and 4 years, we cruised more often when we were young but always did two cabins sometimes one inside and one outside sometimes both inside. Me and one of the kids booked in one cabin and my wife and the other two booked in the other. Once on ship we'd move the kids all three into the triple inside cabin, much like home, gave them a laynard with both our room keys, tucked them in every night, checked on them a few times, we were always up before them as well. I think we started doing this when they were 4/6 ( the little one was always with us for the first couple cruises ) got our independence, they felt like home and loved having their "own cabin"
