I would check out Almaplena or Hayhu Beach Club. We have not been yet but are considering for our next visit.

Hayhu seems to have opened up some new package options for cruisers.

please report back if you try either of these.

Where's Hayhu?

Further down than Almaplena. You take the main road I understand and then turn left to the coast, when you reach the dirt road instead of turning left to Al you turn right.

Someone asked about it in here a while back but it used to be on Shoreexcursioneer for larger groups but I noticed new cruiser options in their website now. More than expensive than the malecon but photos look good, reviews on TA are good and looks quiet.

communications so far have been very good.

Ok.  I see it's just south of Almaplena. Pictures  are great. Food very tempting. Great reviews. For a large group the VIP package  might work. Bit expensive  for the 6 minimum.  But other options are reasonable.  Taxi rate seems high if in USD. But equivalent to heading to Playa Palancar in Cozumel.

Yes my feelings exactly. It is not a budget option but could suit someone wanting to escape the malecon for somewhere quieter.

website has a look of YaYa and Pitaya to me - don’t know if Steve has any insight?

Seems comparable price wise to a day at Palancar to me.
