Problem logging in on IPad

A few weeks ago I noticed some were having problems logging in and there was a "sticky" type note on this.  I didn't pay much attention as I wasn't having any problem.  Have just returned from our Baltic cruise (where I was off line for a period of time) and am unable to log in or access the forums on my IPad.  I am able to log it on my PC (hence I can send this question!).  I have tried deleting the app, reinstalling, changing password, etc.  Any tips or suggestions of what else to try?

Use your iPad browser. If you have an issue with login, clear the browser website cookies and data.
