Looking for info re: SFO taxis

Also, the last poster was talking about pickups from SFO to downtown, not from the pier to the airport. From the pier Uber will work curbside just as normal and will get you there much faster and more efficiently than any bus.

So if you call Uber from the pier, do they come all the way into the passenger pick up area or do they have a specific pick up area for rideshare?

The cruise pier is right on the Embarcadero-- the big street that runs along the waterfront. You'll be able to get an Uber or Lyft right outside of where passengers exit.
