rdevine10 Posted September 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2019 Take the upgrade? Magic cove to balcony 11 or spa got an offer for an upgrade to mid ship on deck 11 for $44 or a spa for $175. Incredibly torn. Motion has been an issue for myself and one of my daughters so I prefer mid ship. Pros or cons? How much noise do you hear on deck 11? Currently our room is deck 2 cove under the dining room, midship. we had an extended balcony once forward on the legend and I swore never again forward, as the seas were rough and I felt sick. Help! Butterbean1000 Posted September 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2019 I would do it. We were on the Panorama deck on our Magic cruise last year. We're booked in a spa cabin on 11 on our upcoming Breeze cruise. Panorama is our favorite deck. It's quiet up There and very convenient to lido. bury me at sea Posted September 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2019 In my opinion you have three very good choices. I love the coves and under the dining room is primo. Deck 11 balconies have no noise issues. Very little foot traffic. I don't feel any motion difference on higher decks. If the spa balcony is on deck 11 it would be wonderful as well IF two of you would use the spa. I would pass on a deck 12 spa balcony since they aren't covered. You are in a win-win-win situation! PhillyFan33579 Posted September 7, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2019 I love the spa cabins on Dream class ships. However, you definitely feel more motion in these cabins. My wife and I don’t have an issue with motion on the ship, which obviously you need to consider when making your decision.
Shaded Lady Posted September 7, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) I was on Magic, deck 12 spa balcony- loved it. I would take it for that cost every time. FYI we didn't feel much movement except one time when there was a SERIOUS steering correction made- threw me out of my bunk that night! other than that, it was very calm.
