valancy1 Posted September 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2019 Hello, I have never sailed Princess before, though I have been on the ships (they are beautiful). Having sailed many other lines, though, I am wondering if someone with experience in this regard might tell me if when we book our first Princess cruise to the Caribbean for next summer if there are lots of things to do for teens? We chose Princess for this specific itinerary--I just hope that my teens don't come to us bored, but rather that they "come back new" :) Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Rare Ken the cruiser Posted September 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) We were just on the Crown for a 12 day UK cruise and our granddaughter who is 14 had a blast at the teen center. Not sure what she did there, but she made a lot of friends, had plenty of things to do, and the only time we saw her was at meals. Your teens will have a great time!! caribill Posted September 8, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 8, 2019 The OP did not indicate where in the teen range (13-19) her kids are. a) Those 13-17 can be part of the kids club program. The younger teens usually do attend a number of these activities. The older ones usually just make new friends the first meeting on embarkation day and then hang out together the rest of the cruise. b) The 18 and 19 year olds cannot participate at all in the kids club area or activities. Look for a notice in the daily newsletter (The Patter) of a meeting the first day or so for those in this agea group to meet.
