A new group, headed by Beach Boys, Ltd. the operator of Tobacco Bay is taking over operation of Snorkel Park and promising a "world class plan" for the facility. Among the other partners in the project is the managing director of the company that owns Flanagan's Irish Pub in Hamilton.

This could mark the beginnings of some very positive changes at Snorkel Park. I'm looking forward to seeing what they will do.

I beat you by a minute but I was editing in something like you said when I saw a notification you posted so I will use your thread. It sounds positive to me. Change at Snorkel Park is much needed.

I included the mention of the owner of Flanagan's being part of the group just to catch your eye. 😀

  • 2 weeks later...

Was there this past Saturday, the 14th.  We were the only ship in port, so it wasn't overly crowded.  Have to say though it does need a lot of TLC, so changes would be welcome.  Just hope they don't create overly high price points though!
