On a HAL cruise, my friend wanted to spend three days in Rome at the end.  She wanted to do the HAL package.  My TA found different opportunities and saved us $700 each.  EM

We used City Stay program one time in Vancouver and found it very expensive and not particularly well organized. You will need to call to get prices and what is included.

 

The pricing is based on a per person fee which is based on double occupancy and roughly equivalent to the price of a room.   In our case we stayed at the Fairmont.   The City Stay usually includes transport to the hotel and if a multi-night stay may include a tour.  

 

Would really recommend calling and finding out the cost and then compare to what you could do it for on your own.   Our experience was that it was about 2x what it would have costed had we booked independently.
