Carnival FunPoints MC bonus in October and November

I just received an email from Barclays advising that “select cardmembers” will receive a 1,000 point bonus for using the card to purchase $50 or more during October, and the same offer in November.  The points are in addition to the normal FunPoints earned.  

 

This is probably not a big deal for those who use the card regularly, but I have switched to other cards with better rewards and am stuck with around 2,000 FunPoints that I can’t use.  The bonuses will bring it up to a redeemable amount.

Sounds like a good deal. I use mine regularly and didn’t get the email. Probably trying to get people who don’t use it to use it.

I got the e-mail but I have to spend $1,000 to get 1,000 bonus points

I got the E-mail and just paid off my cruise a couple of days ago, score! Will make sure I get it for November too.

My e-mail gave me 5X points for purchasing or paying for a Carnival cruise or Carnival service! and 4X points for all other purchases from 10/7/19 thru 11/11/19. It MAY only be for select cardmembers however

I'm waiting to see if I get an email- I have the same issue as OP- I don't use the card regularly anymore and I need some more points to get another gift card!

I did not see an email... I'm also using a better rewards card right now. I'm gonna check and see if theres an offer in my on line account. I was just contemplating cancelling this card before my annual renewal and losing the points.
