A34 closures

Just to let anyone travelling down the A34 next weekend it will be closed from Hinksey Hill to Botley ( around  Oxford) . It will be quite a big diversion so check everything out before travelling. Looks like it might also be close for the weekend two weeks later as well

Am I right that the A34 will only be closed northbound and southbound will remain open and limited to one lane. We will be going down to Southampton on Saturday 2nd November.

Thanks for the link. We will be travelling down on the 29th which is a Tuesday so hopefully wont be affected.

But appreciate you spotting this and bringing it to our attention.

That's how it reads, but the A34 around Botley is extremely busy at the best of times. I'd allow at least an extra half an hour for queuing into the lane drop.

Anyone know if the M27 is shut next weekend for bridge works, will be travelling down the M3 on Sat 19th Oct to sail on Aurora on the 20th. Don't know if it affects the M3.
