We booked a casino offer for May of next year, and have a little price drop. Does anyone know if I can request the change online, or do I have to call? If I can do it online, where?

I'm actually on hold with carnival now for my 4th price drop on our May, 2020 cruise. This one is only $20 but I have 2 rooms so it is actually $40 in my favor. Since it is also a casino offer, I was always told I had to call the casino department. Their extension # is 70358.

It's pretty easy. I was told we can get price drops up to 60 days before sailing if it is the same casino offer.

Don't think so.  I had several small drops for my upcoming Sunshine sailing this Saturday.  My TA had to call the Casino dept and she told me that once that fare was no longer offered, that was the end of the drops.  And since they all seem to have NR deposits now, I would think that you couldn't get the price for a different fare code without cancelling, losing that deposit and having to rebook.

What I don't like is that once booked, there's nothing on the booking summary that shows what fare code you're booked under.  I have to remember to write it on my invoice so that when checking prices, I'm sure I'm looking at the same code.

Ya'll check your rates today.  We just got a price drop of $380 for our Aug 24 Alaska cruise on the Miracle ( grand suite)!

I'm in the habit of checking my fares. I checked mine for that cruise and thought it was a glitch. Ours dropped almost $1300.

I have to agree, I have one in April under a premier and one in May under a hot streak. I keep forgetting which is which!

I did call Carnival about this and was told if they can still pull up the offer (even if it's expired) then you can get a price drop. Really hate conflicting answers when I call Carnival, I need to get a new PVP that knows casino offers. I had one years ago (before I got any casino offers) but didn't really get any help from her and it was just easier to book myself.
