marci4tony Posted October 22, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 22, 2019 How often do you get to Miami? If you need to take a cab/uber to port anyways, go find a hotel in South Beach! A person can walk around there for days and never see anything twice! Chalk it up to your "places visited" - it is almost its own world down there. When the ship departs in Miami, it was very very awesome! Dream went down the causway TOWARDS the city, did a 180 turn around, and then took off to sea. Passed other ships that were boarding people - lots of waving (and occasional a mooning lol) - and passing though the jettys into the open ocean was amazing!!! Just consider south beach... Its pretty amazing if its not somewhere you get very often! We stayed at the Fritz, and its walking distance everywhere - a few blocks.
