BOOKED ON THE WIND!

Hi friends, booked my first cruise after I retire got a great deal on the Wind for January.

Then I will be sailing in April on my first TA crossing

 

I am trying to decide about doing another cruise in January (either before this SS cruise or following it).

It won't be on SS but that probably won't matter LOL

 

Anyway......looking forward to January!

Hi JP, thanks! Do you and Chris want to fly down and go with me? January 16th...think about it!

The itinerary is as follows:

Ft. Lauderdale

Key West

Santo Thomas, Gautemala (NEVER been there)

Belize City (NEVER been there either)

Cozumel

2 Sea Days as well.

That would be fun, Lois, but we are a little further south at that time...as in Antarctica, on Silver Cloud! The sister ship of Silver Wind. I'm sure we will all have a great time.

Ohh…..I cannot remember all your trips!,,,,but I know we will both have fun for sure! Yours will be more interesting

but a Caribbean cruise will be fun.....and after years of going there, I will actually be visiting 2 places for the first time!

Congratulations, Lois, on booking your first post-retirement cruise!

Though I always enjoyed the physical and emotional healing effects of cruising, hanging over the head was always concern about having to return to work post-cruise.

The first cruise I took after my recent retirement felt much different — I did not have the dread of having to return to work right after, and just visited friends in the area instead!

So much more relaxing.

You will have a blast.

Good morning Cat, thanks so much.  It is only a 7 nighter and I am thinking of putting one either before or after it.

But the one thing about it...it starts and ends on a Thursday LOL...….so I would have to stay in Ft. Lauderdale for

2 days (tough job) LOL......to pick up a cruise on Saturday (if I go after it).

We almost got on the same cruise!  As it is we’ll be getting on while you’re getting off.

Hi Peg, wow, we are both retiring.....you know there is a roll call for that cruise too. If you want to chat over there,
