Decorations on Nieuw Statendam

We usually sail during the Holiday season but this year are waiting until January 5th 2020. In seventeen cruises, we have never experienced a ship without Christmas decorations. Kinda looking forward to enjoying the Nieuw Statendam's elegant beauty without extra adornment. Can we expect that she will have been de-decorated by the time we board her?

We're on the NS the week before Christmas and I am psyched to see all the decorations.  We've never sailed at Xmas before, so it will be lovely.

The decorations will start going up the day after Thanksgiving.

Nieuw Statendam is a lovely ship with an interesting modern art collection.  Go to youtube.com and view the videos, some of which give you an excellent tour of the ship.  We spent last Christmas on NS, and this year, we'll be cruising her again during Christmas/New Year's.  Since the 2nd cruise isn't over until Jan. 5, we're eager to view the ship without the decorations.

We noticed, though, both on Nieuw Statendam and her sister, Koningsdam, that the holiday decorations are more understated than on the other ships.  Just a personal observation.
