What are the current onboard offers for a new booking

We are booked on a Celebrity cruise in January 2020 but are considering booking another cruise while we are onboard. We have our eye on the Eclipse 14 night sailing from Singapore to Sydney on 24th November 2020.

Does anyone know the current onboard offers for this sailing? our UK based TA is currently offering AI drinks, gratuities and $200 stateroom credit for a balcony cabin and we wanted to compare. We have booked onboard previously in the past and received perks and an additional OBC as part of the process.

As of last week, the offer for booking on-board was reduced deposit ($100 per person) and extra OBC, combined with the current promotion.

It's been pretty standard over the last couple of years.  It's the "current promotion" that you won't know until January.  But the "promotion" is available when booking on land as well.

 

Here is the schedule of additional benefits if you book onboard.   We are finding the reduced deposit more valuable now with the proliferation of non refundable fares.

A quick question... we have booked placeholders while on a cruise, but what if we want to do that in reverse?  When the cruise we want comes out in the next few weeks, if we book it online refundable (assuming current promotion is the same), can we "cancel" and rebook next April when we cruise to Alaska and KEEP OUR SAME CABINS.. but also get the extra OBC?  

 

Obviously it would be possible to cancel the cruise, but wonder about how they would cancel and assure that nobody takes our cabins while they immediately rebook onboard?  Maybe I am overthinking this...?

 

Anyone done this onboard?  Thanks...
