boomhower Posted November 18, 2019 Author #102 Share Posted November 18, 2019 Woodsford neat. Both ways prefer Gentleman Jack but do like the variety. 12. Won’t hit 15 tonight.

boomhower Posted November 18, 2019 Author #106 Share Posted November 18, 2019 Good morning from Amber Cove. We are sitting off the coast but don’t dock until 1030. Off to breakfast.
boomhower Posted November 18, 2019 Author #107 Share Posted November 18, 2019 Breakfast was huevos rancheros from the blue iguana and it was really good, better than the sea day brunch version. We didn’t do much at Amber Cove. Did a little shopping and took some pictures. My wife doesn’t do heat well so didn’t hang around the pool at all. Headed back to the shop around 1.
boomhower Posted November 18, 2019 Author #108 Share Posted November 18, 2019 Back on board I we headed to lunch. I took advantage of the misty empty ship and a burrito while my wife had buffet. She returned to the room for a nap and got a drink. I’ll be hanging out in the Lido for a while. We followed the Breeze here and she’s a good looking ship. Outdoor areas look really nice from next door.
boomhower Posted November 18, 2019 Author #109 Share Posted November 18, 2019 Breeze headed out a little bit ago. Few pics of what it covered up. Off to dinner in a bit.
boomhower Posted November 19, 2019 Author #110 Share Posted November 19, 2019 Dinner overall was decent. No wait as we were still in port. I had the flatbread and rabbit. Flatbread was very difficult to cut. Rabbit was good. Had the portebello mushroom main and it was very good. Got Apple pie for desert and it was hard. Basically inedible she’ll, just ate apple out of the inside. My wife had her usual shrimp cocktail and flat iron. She orders well done and for the second time came out medium rare at best. Very inconsistent still. Back to the casino bar until love and marriage.

boomhower Posted November 19, 2019 Author #112 Share Posted November 19, 2019 Well had a first at the love and marriage show. When they selected the youngest couple had one almost on stage married four days ago. Then another popped up married yesterday, which they were around the ship taking pictures in their wedding clothes. They get to question seven, what is the most interesting place you have had sex. Mom and grandma are in the audience. The groom gets up and leaves not to return. CD sent the wife to retrieve him but no success. The other couple took their place. Funny but going to be an interesting evening for them. Fourth show we’ve seen and the first that they haven’t split the couples up taking them back stage and making more of a show. Really not liking a lot of changes in this ship.

Jenn. Not a fan. She’s more focused on pushing sales than any other CD I’ve had. She’s new to the ship as well. Pretty sure it’s the first cruise since she took over. Today was Grand Turks. Breakfast was simple buffet that honestly was horrible. Ended up getting some fruit loops. We headed to the beach shortly after eight. We were the only ship in port today so no crowding at all. Hung out and swam at the terminal beach for a few hours and headed down to Jacks. The jerk chicken was awesome and my wife loved feeding the dogs. This place is clearly still recovering. Many building alone the beach are dilapidated. Another thing is weed must be legal here, it was being smoked all over the beach. After lunch did some shopping and headed back to the ship. Hung out in the room for a bit and headed back out to Lido. Chilling here until dinner time.

You'd think that even if she is new to that particular ship, she should have a good grip on the job duties. I'm glad to hear that Grand Turk is rebounding from the damage, we really enjoyed our visit and would love to go back.

No excuse for a lot of these issues.
Stacie. Posted November 19, 2019 #118 Share Posted November 19, 2019 We were on the cruise before yours and we had Brad from Orlando and I think it was his first time as cruise director. If he wouldn’t sign on with an obnoxious “Yeah Boi!!!” He would’ve been okay but that really got on my nerves. Jen was on our ship too but we never heard from her, I only know this because Brad and Jen and some other carnival workers were at the table next to us in the Imagination dining room on the last night at sea. I’m not a big desert person to start with, that’s plenty for me. I’ve heard it’s an awesome combo though! I rarely if ever get desert other than vacation. boomhower Posted November 20, 2019 Author #123 Share Posted November 20, 2019 Still chilling at the bar. A lot more movement tonight that the last couple days. Not an issue for me but it can be felt. It seems they expect it to get worse, barf bags have been deployed. Bet you can’t guess what I’m drinking.....
