carlylecat Posted November 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2019 When Canyon Ranch stops supporting the Explorer on Dec 7 2019 - how does one make spa appointments in advance, is there a new operator we can contact?
Brownie54 Posted November 18, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2019 On the RSSC.com website at the bottom of the opening page there is an FAQ section. Go to "before you board". There is an entry for " how to book spa appointments". They still list the contact information for Canyon Ranch. I would keep checking there, or call Regent directly. wowpeople Posted December 12, 2019 #6 Share Posted December 12, 2019 Was able to make massage appointment but was told I have to make Reflexology appointment when on board. This makes no sense to me!

ClefsDor Posted December 12, 2019 #8 Share Posted December 12, 2019 Would be interested to know if the prices are the same as when Canyon Ranch was managing the spa?
Bellaggio Cruisers Posted December 13, 2019 #9 Share Posted December 13, 2019 Just finished my massage at Serena Spa. Massage was one of the best onboard. Fifty minutes. $139. 10% off on sea day. 20% off in port day. 20% gratuity added. The ladies at the desk took a while to check me out. But all were very pleasant. sheila
xrvlcruiser Posted December 13, 2019 #10 Share Posted December 13, 2019 Sheila, I'm glad you were happy . . . .is the Spa busy? Is it possible for you to post a price list? Enjoy the rest of your cruise! Peggy

Anyway glad you enjoyed it Sheila!! And hope you and Herb have a great time for the rest of your cruise. Gerry
Bellaggio Cruisers Posted December 14, 2019 #12 Share Posted December 14, 2019 Peggy Spa was not busy at all. I don’t have a price chart. Forgot to ask for one. Gerry Yes I thought it was rather expensive. But what better way to use OBC. see you soon. sheila

Eager2Travel Posted December 15, 2019 #17 Share Posted December 15, 2019 I also had a massage on the Explorer with new spa. I can honestly say it was one of the most mediocre massages I have ever had anymore. No one asked how it went which would have been smart of them to do. Sheila, I am glad you had a good one. Obviously you had a different person do it.

Brownie54 Posted December 16, 2019 #22 Share Posted December 16, 2019 I'm guessing the gratuity is not included. In the fine print it says an 18% service charge WILL BE included, but the amount can be changed when making final payment. Under Canyon Ranch the gratuity was already included, but a lot of especially first time customers did not realize that.

Is the tip included in the price or is it an additional charge over and above the price listed? Peggy
Bellaggio Cruisers Posted December 16, 2019 #24 Share Posted December 16, 2019 Gratuity is not included in price. And I just realized they added 20% not 18%. But I did get the discount of 20% for using services on a port day. sheila
xrvlcruiser Posted December 16, 2019 #25 Share Posted December 16, 2019 Thanks Sheila, Are we correct in thinking that with Canyon Ranch the price listed INCLUDED the tip? I have a friend on the Mariner now, I'll email her to ask. Peggy
