jmedelman Posted December 15, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2019 I want to plan out the specialty dinning for our upcoming cruise. We have two boys 5 and 3 so we have to plan ahead for which nights to go out without them and which nights to include. We have an offer from AAA for one free specialty dinner. Not sure which restaurants are included in this, but we can only book it once on board. We would like to visit: Central Park 150 Izumi Giovanis Table Chops Grill If we get the 3 night dinning package for $99/person (just the adults) and use the 1 dinning credit from AAA would this cover these restaurants and be a good buy? Central Park 150 and Izumi are a la carte. How do those work with the 3 night package? Which of these are kid friendly and have kid menus?
Clarea Posted December 15, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 15, 2019 I believe 150 Central Park is a fixed fee, not a la carte. As far as Izumi, hibachi is a fixed fee and covered by the package. Sushi is a la carte and you get a $35 allowance to spend there. My guess would be that Giovanni's would be the most kid friendly.
Ken at the beach Posted December 15, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2019 Hibachi is only covered under the Ultimate dining package. It is not covered under the 3 night package. Central Park is a fixed price. At Izumi you get a $35 credit per person.
jmedelman Posted December 15, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted December 15, 2019 I'm gonna see if we can switch to the %50 OBC for Dine Drink Discover and maybe get AAA to credit us OBC instead of the free dinner they offer. Then we can buy the Unlimited Dinning Package.
Rare BirdTravels Posted December 15, 2019 #5 Share Posted December 15, 2019 For Mom and Dad’s night out, do CP150. You’ll go to a steak house at home. Do the fine dining on the ship.
