Lisbon airport private transfer to the hotel

Can anyone recommend a reputable private transfer company providing transfer from airport to city hotel.  We will arrive on April 24, 2020 and take a Scenic Eclipse cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona on the next day.

There is a taxi queue outside baggage claim. You can stand in line, give the person the address you are going to and they tell you how much and give that information to the driver. It was very easy; I just had the address written on a piece of paper. Our cab driver didn't speak very much English but we managed just fine.

 

Lisbon was a wonderful city! I hope you have some time to spend exploring!

You might want to consider Uber.  It should cost you less than 15 Euros from the airport to most hotels and, unlike some taxis, the Uber cars are usually clean with friendly drivers.  Of course, to use Uber you need a working Smart phone, their app, and an account.  

 

A taxi would likely cost about 20 Euros...but that assumes you have an honest driver who does not take "the long way" to run up the meter.  Our own experience with Lisbon taxis is that when you do get an honest driver it is a akin to winning the lottery.  Even when they know that I know where we are going they still will often take a longer route.  If your driver actually speaks English and you ask why he is not taking the most direct route his response will be "to avoid traffic" even if it is a Sunday morning with no traffic :).

We did use Uber once we were in our apartment in Lisbon. Since it was the very first time I had ever used it, to be honest, I didn't know how to do it at the airport!
