Late afternoon shuttle rates are more expensive because they likely cannot fill the van with others. UberX or standard Lyft will be about $35+ from FLL to downtown Miami hotels.

Thanks for the response. I figured I would pay a bit more but a minimum charge of $100 is excessive for a flight that arrives 4 minutes past 3pm. Especially since those arriving at 3pm will be paying $15 per person. We will be going with an Uber since the estimate from their site is, as you said, approximately $37 +/-.

I checked Jiffy Jeff’s also but if your flight arrives after 3pm you will pay a minimum $100 for the same trip that others pay $15pp for just minutes before. I guess, as another poster said, afternoon shuttles are more expensive. We arrive at 3:04pm (4 minutes past the cut off😆) so instead of $30 we would have to pay at least $100. That’s way too high when Uber or Lyft will be less than $40.
