johnstoc13 Posted December 30, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2019 Sailing Mariner of the Seas next month and we decided to purchase the Unlimited Dining Package. Seems like a good deal, as we usually eat in the specialty restaurants. We plan to visit Chops x2, Jamie's, and Izumi for our 4 nights. My question is can we use this package for lunches at Johnny Rockets and Playmakers?
Dancingnurse79 Posted December 30, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2019 The description says it applies to lunches on sea days.
molly361 Posted December 30, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 30, 2019 Yes and there have been reports that you can use it for lunch even on port days on the Mariner
Rare lazydayz Posted December 30, 2019 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2019 You can use it at both JR and Playmakers, but Playmakers had some arbitrary $$ limit on lunch. Ask first! Since we did the three night, there were no port days but had lunch at JR on embarkation day and Playmakers on Sunday. In our view, Jaime's on this ship is much better than Chops. We cancelled our second Chops reservation and went back to Jaime's. Food and service were superior in Jaime's. Enjoy.

Don't like the limit for playmakers but looking at the prices of the menu $20 dollars per person will get you plenty of food.
mariefisher Posted January 1, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 1, 2020 Sailed Mariner a few months ago. Yes to lunches in all the places that were open on port and sea days. If I remember correctly Playmakers opened a little later on the port days. The limit in Playmakres is not a big deal because it would be hard to eat $20.00 worth of food. I think you will enjoy having the package. Enjoy your cruise great ship!
