TripAdvisor Shore Excursion Return on Time Guarantee

Doing the 27 waterfall tour in Amber Cove with TripAdvisor. Wondering what happens if they are late getting us pack to the boat and we miss the boat? I found a guarantee for Expedia saying the will pay the expenses and $500 for the trouble to get you back to the ship in the next por. An example is some Alaska posts about TripAdvisor flying you in a float plane  and how they have never been late, ever!. Now it appears Expedia owns TripAdvisor, correct? So will the guarantee extend to TripAdvisor? I always say a little Paranoia is a good thing. Let me know your or friends missed ship stories.

Depends on when you are going but 27 falls haven’t been available to do because of water shortage.

We primarily do private excursions. It’s never been a problem getting back to the ship on time. These private companies wouldn’t stay in business if they didn’t get their guests back on time. The cruise lines love to throw the fear out there so you will pay more to see less with cruise line excursions.

We've done tours with Trip Advisor (Viator) many times, mostly in Europe.  Never had a problem, always excellent service. We have several more booked for our next cruise.
