P&O recommend Holiday Extras, as previously mentioned, but these are just a broker, and as well as insurance, they also offer parking packages,  hotel packages etc. We have used them quite frequently for parking at UK airports,  but I doubt very much that they would be of use to you,  especially on the matter of insurance, as you are a US resident.

There is a specific forum on Cruuse Critic specifically for insurance questions. You may wish to ask on there. "Cruise/travel insurance"  on the Cruise Discussion board.

For our insurance which we have just renewed you have to be:-

Resident in UK for six months in the last twelve.

Registered with a doctor in the UK

start and end your journey in the UK

 

I have also read that with a different company.

Is there some reason why you don't want to buy it from home. Not uk, but try this.

No I don't mind buying from home, I was just thinking it would work better out of country if I bought from the cruise I was on. Thank you for the info. , I really have not bought before so didn't know.

When we have booked a cruise in the US,  our worldwide insurance cover, purchased in the UK,  automatically covers us. Can't you just buy a worldwide insurance policy through a US company?
