What to do with unused OBC?

My sister and I had about 75.00 left in OBC on our last cruise.  We each put close to the max into a slot machine, and played for a bit.  I lost about 5.00 of mine and cashed out the rest.  She won, (10s of dollars - don't get too excited) and we cashed that out.

Am I not supposed to be able to do that?

Slot machines are a different thing... this is about Roulette.

If you place the same amount on red and black (or pair and impair) it´s a no win game under normal circumstances and doing it with promo chips is easily recognizable as a method to "launder" OBC. If you give half the chips to your spouse, they quickly catch on to that.

They will let you do it once or twice not to interrupt the flow, but if you keep doing it, they will prohibit you from playing.

It´s a Casino. They can set the rules and there is no use arguing "but it´s his or her´s" or claiming there is a risk to lose if zero comes up. Their house, their rules...

You can play any "normal risk" game with your OBC as long as you want (like slot machines). But as soon as you try to strategize at the tables they will know.

We did it (small amount) and I was asked if DW and I belong together. They even scanned our cards. I said "yes, but half is her´s and half is mine..."
They let it go for one game with a small amount like $10 and then said: No can do!
Happened to us twice!

Now there might be many people who say: but I did it!

Sure, you can be lucky at times but in general they will not allow you to play no risk games in order to switch non- refundable OBC. No matter how smart you think your playing is. I think there´s nothing they haven´t seen yet.
