Booking without name for 3rd/4th guest

Hi,

 

Does anyone know if it’s possible to book without putting any name on the reservation for the 4th guest? I am due with baby #2 this summer and am hoping to book a family trip for summer 2021. The kids sail free promo right now is tempting but unfortunately baby #2 has no name to add to the reservation. I heard something about a $100 change fee if I needed to change the name later- is that true? If so, has anyone had luck waiving it?

You need to put some name on the 3rd and 4th person but you can change the name down the road.  I have done this several times.

Use Baby X and Baby Y. No charge for changing names

The name can be generic. On our NYE cruise later this year, we booked before my niece was even known to be a niece. The reservation said Baby (last name). We added her name when she was born. No problems and no charge.

I booked on Princess with

passenger #1 - my name,

passenger #2 - TBA (to be announced) 

 

I later put in a name.  If booking air, you need a name.

If it is important to you, only some ships have Royal Babies and Tots and only some have diapered swim play areas.

Thanks! I'm looking at the Oasis out of NJ. I've been on it a few times but back in the pre-kids days. Do you know if the Oasis has these?
