  1. We had this same experience in March on our Spring Break cruise.
  2. Love this thread! Our happy note to add is that 6 more of our friends are joining us on our NYE/Birthday cruise! Cruising with family and friends is awesome!
  3. Another vote for Liberty. She had more activities for your kids' ages. Galveston has more to offer than people realize and the Houston Zoo isn't bad either.
  4. The name can be generic. On our NYE cruise later this year, we booked before my niece was even known to be a niece. The reservation said Baby (last name). We added her name when she was born. No problems and no charge.
  5. We did our Med cruise for our 10th. Yes, port intensive. Yes, not much time in each port. But, the memories are priceless. We loved every moment. We also learned where we would and wouldn't want to go back to. You have plenty of time to watch for airfare deals.
  6. We used Glaveston Shuttle and Limo in 2016. They picked us up at the port and took us around Galveston, stopped for lunch, and then on to the airport late afternoon. We would recommend them.
  7. Official announcement was today. Except first Allure cruise out of Galveston is November 10, 2021 (according to cruise hive).
  8. Well said Doug S! I'll take driving to port vs flying anytime!
  9. We are the enjoying a beverage on the balcony people but chatting with a bartender with a view of the water is a nice alternative.
  10. Frozen mojito for me and Miami vice for my hubby.
  11. Hello Andrew! I have followed/stalked many of your reviews and love your sense of humor. Wanted to make sure you knew that today is National Drink Vodka Day. I was hoping you might be able to have a "sip" for your followers tonight. Enjoy your last night!
  12. We are booked on a New Years 2020 cruise. The price has continued to rise since we booked. I'd book sooner than later.
  13. As others have said, make sure you have US dollars for on the ship and Euros for off the ship. We booked most of our excursions on our own. Just do your research. Also, check in with your roll call. I know several people on our cruise booked together and saved money. Enjoy the Med. One warning, the water is much colder than you would think.
  14. Our experience was checked in about 10:45 and we were eating in the Windjammer by 11:05.
  15. Liberty is our favorite as well. In March, we went to Royalton White Sands in Falmouth. The food was awesome. There were lots of kids acivities. You might look into it.
