Cruzinnana47 Posted January 24, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2020 Sailing for 1st time on Royal Princess in May, 2020. Understand the Wine Maker's Dinner will cost $40pp and accomodates up to 12 people in Symphony and/or Concerto DRs--can anyone share their experience. Worth trying? I think it’s one of the best Princess dining experiences & go there on every cruise we have on a Royal-class ship. It’s only available on this class of ship in the Wine Cellars in those dining rooms. Like the Chef’s Table participation is limited so we immediately call the DINE line to request it which has worked every time for us. Here’s the menu from our Sky cruise in November which is the one we’ve had each time although the name has changed due to a change in wine. My only disappointment is that it’s not available on all Princess ships. The CT was very successful in the dining room before the Lumiere ring of lights setting & think the WD would be successful on other ships in the dining room. For $11 more than the Crown Grill it’s also a good deal for a better meal, great service & unlimited wine. Cruzinnana47 Posted January 24, 2020 Author #4 Share Posted January 24, 2020 Thanks so much for the info, Astro Flyer. Menu looks great. Think we'll be calling the Dine Line when we get onboard!

Thanks for your input...think you and Astro Flyer have sold us. Yes, wine sure helps everyone to become more mellow....or convivial as you stated. LOL...😉

The one night we did it we (3 couples who didn't know each other before the dinner) closed down the entire dining room and had to be kicked out (politely of course)! Rare abbydancer2003 Posted January 25, 2020 #8 Share Posted January 25, 2020 We might do it. We're also on the Royal in December, and want to do the Winemakers on one and chef's table on the other. It might depend on whether one is more likely to be canceled than the other.
