BEVERAGE CARDS

We will be on the Koningsdam next month and will have a few beverage cards to use.  I know that they can be used for both non and alcoholic drinks but can I use them to purchase a wine package after boarding?

Yes you can if you want.  Just a heads up that if you use beverage cards, no Mariner discount can be applied (in case it applies).

 

 They can literally be used for any beverage 🙂

When you say you will have a few beverage cards -- do you mean the regular beverage cards or the signature drink cards?

On our cruise last year we each were given a $25 Beverage Card when we booked.  And then when the price dropped drastically....our TA called HAL and we got a cabin upgrade, a free dinner at the Pinnacle Grill AND a $100 beverage card each!   We don't drink.  We were buying cappuccinos for friends we met on the cruise and at the end we still had lots of $$$$ on it.  We were told "Use it or lose it".  So we ended up buying two coffee mugs, two cold drink beverage cups (glasses) and two red America's Kitchen aprons.
