restaurant close to the port in Nassau

Go to Fish Fry.... it is like a restaurant row, with about a dozen restaurants all serving local seafood, etc.  Take the #10 bus, cheap transport, and then you can take same bus back or walk, which is what we did.  Don't show up before noon though.  We showed up at around 11am and they were just opening up.

I was actually there not on a cruise so didn't come from the port but I would say its no more than a 5 minute walk up Parliament St.

(scroll down towards the bottom)  5-minute walk?  Probably the walk from the ship to the terminal is longer than the walk from the terminal to the restaurant.
