CrusieToy Posted February 5, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2020 we booked 3 rooms for family. in order to keep booked on board benefit for 2 of the rooms my wife and I had, we put her in a room with our daughter in law and my son in my room figuring out we would just change cards. prob. is my son and daughter in law both want the drink package and neither my wife or I do. Would it be as simple as going to guest services and changing rooms? or is this impossible since we booked the way we did toe get a discount? thanks in advance

Maybe, but then you'll be paying on board prices for the drink package which could be much higher than pre cruise. Now that you are booked, you can change the names on the cabins - hopefully that won't trigger a reprice. Merion_Mom Posted February 5, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2020 If you booked it that way to get a balcony discount on both cabins, you will lose that if you move your wife into your cabin.
sburrus4 Posted February 6, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2020 Do you or your wife drink at all? If not, you could call and request an exception. They’ll have you get the refreshment package, but will allow only one guest to get the alcohol package with a reason.
