Carnival Sunrise (SN) Cloud 9 Spa Staterooms

High Crimes and Misdemeanors (mentioned what is included in the spa)

Thermal Suite experience on the Sunrise

Carnival Sunrise Spa Pass

In a nutshell, if you stay in the spa rooms:

  • The decor will be different.
  • A weird discount that is hard to understand and not worth it.
  • Elemis products (shampoo, lotion, body wash)
  • Body scrub kit (must ask for)
  • Access to the thermal suite (which consists of a few types of sauna's and a heated lounger)
  • On the Sunrise, there is no thalassotherapy pool or hot tub (like the Horizon)

Once you've experienced a ship that has a t-pool, you won't bother with a spa pass or stateroom that doesn't have it. It's that big of a difference. I mean the heated tile loungers and saunas are fine, but not worth the expense on their own. Also note, there is a usually a small sauna in the locker room and according to this thread there is one on Sunrise, there is a small co-ed sauna right as you enter the area for the Spa/gym Locker rooms. There's no sign to indicate it's there and it's not advertised or highlighted.

Hope that helps!

I think you missed the OP's key word, free. OP never mentioned they occupied a spa cabin. There will be free showers and a steam or sauna in the men's and lady's restrooms respectively. You can not enter the Cloud 9 Spa without paying or buying a spa cabin, which is more.

I did miss that keyword. But I covered the free option in my last two sentences.

On the sunrise there is a co-ed option that is free. And there is a link to a discussion on the free options. Apparently sunrise doesn’t have separate ones in each locker room.
