beaslli Posted February 19, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2020 Sailing on Oasis March 8th in Miami, and I've been told by 2 different RC guest services agents that the terminal is open for guest arrivals from 12 to 3:30. Does anyone know if this is accurate? Opening at 12 seems late, and expedited or not, that's a crap-ton of people to process in 3.5 hours. Thanks! not-enough-cruising Posted February 19, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2020 Last week we arrived at the terminal at 1045, and was sitting at the Terrace Bar on oasis at 11:10
beaslli Posted February 19, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted February 19, 2020 Thanks for the reply. Never been on a ship this big before, and I wasn't sure if they had "amplified" the boarding system too, haha. Plus, nowadays you never know what a company's rep is trained to either say or attempt to steer you away from.
OACAggie Posted February 19, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2020 We are on the same cruise. We have "suggested" arrival time of 11:30, but I plan to be there by 10:00, hoping to board between 10:30-11.

If you have not yet experienced the new terminal in Miami, I can tell you the boarding has most certainly been “amped”. It’s amazing how streamlined and seamless it was. Rare mitsugirly Posted February 19, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2020 There's someone doing a live review on it right now and I believe they were on the ship around 10:30am.
beaslli Posted February 19, 2020 Author #7 Share Posted February 19, 2020 We went through Miami last year on the Navigator, but I thought that maybe boarding could be different with this big of a ship. I guess I was just being "handled" by the RCL reps, and that's what really irks me. Thank you all for the info, and for answering my first post- even as dumb of a question as it might have been!
